The EDGE is the St. Joseph County member supported and directed economic development organization and which evolved from the former St. Joseph County Economic Development Corporation.Our private business model will harness the best business minds in the local economy to assist in the growth and support of your existing or new enterprise. Annually, we conduct over 150 consultations with St. Joseph County businesses providing expertise and assistance. In fact, if you are in business in St Joseph County you have likely already engaged with our Southwest Michigan First Staff or know someone who has.Over the last 5 years our service professionals assisted with over $197 million in business investment in our local economy and the creation of 1,830 new jobs. As our County provided funding phases out and the work through the EDGE becomes privately supported, we cannot back up, slow down or change direction.We need you, and you need to be a part of this dynamic effort.
